Notes from DaVic Gallery:   For some time I struggled to find the relationship of the objects included in this print, berry shrub, rock, grass, a mug with berries in it floating in the air, and then a spider… do you see it?  Ningeokuluk is frightened by a spider while she`s collecting berries in her mug and in her surprise she lets go of the mug with the berries she`s collected so far. This moment captures as she sees the mug falling to the ground and she`s falling back.  I like that explanation, fits well.  You may also notice a level of softness in the new Inuit lifestyle from fearless nomads to settlement lifestyle.  Berry picking in a nice sunny day collecting in a pretty coffee mug and freighted by a small spider.
