Notes from DaVic Gallery:   Four man work together gathering boulders to build a rock cairn.  Definitely interesting to note the hint of modernization or westernization in routine activities such as this in the arctic where men wear modern warm clothing made from synthetic materials rather than made from caribou-skin like the old-days.  Nonetheless, activities such as building cairns remain traditional when and as needed … here, in this drawing Padloo signs her name in syllabic … can you spot it?
