Notes from DaVic Gallery: Lucy Qinnuayuak was prolific and drew many different subjects, but surely it is for her whimsical birds that she is best remembered. In this image we see two children coming back alone from fishing and triumphantly having caught one fish each with the help of their kaviak or fishing spear. A bigger image of a bird walks behind them.
