Geese in Flight
‘Geese in Flight’ by Luke Anguhadluq – Inuit Art – Baker Lake 1979 print collection presented by DaVic Gallery of Native Canadian Arts.
Condition: Very good condition – Professionally restored for light paper handling marks commensurate with age.
Description by Artist: No description by artist found.
Notes from DaVic Gallery: Simple and yet complex well balanced composition depicting 14 geese from two different perspectives. There is so much movement and flow in this design showing nine geese standing preparing to take flight where the perspective is at ground level, while 5 geese are already in the air and this perspective is top to bottom.
The blank sheet of letter-size (8.5” x 11”) paper covering part of the image in the last picture is for size reference.
