Certainly very intriguing and deceiving work by Lydia Jaypody depicting what appears to be a hunter holding a floating device in one hand preparing to go hunting.  In closer look, this is a half-man, half-woman clearly showing the right half side of the man as woman with typical tattooed face, pulled hair, wearing amauti and female boots.  The left hand side is a hunter with beard, hair to the front, wearing a man’s parka, male pants and boots, and holding a floating device on his hand.  Oddly inside the floating device is an ulu, the preferred tool of women.  I love this piece!
