Notes from DaVic Gallery:    “Kinngait Calling” is more into the style that Padloo would normally represent in her drawings with details of city or town objects such as water-tanks, buildings, and vehicles.  Here we see a very detailed depiction of an specific area of a light post and all kinds of cables hanging on this post to form a complete line.  A telephone line is somewhere among those cables connecting the isolated community of Kinngait with the outside world.
