‘Raven’s Light’ by Eugene Alfred – First Nations Northwest Coast Tlingit Art presented by DaVic Gallery of Native Canadian Arts.
Condition: no condition noted.
Description by Artist: “This design illustrates the well-known story of how Raven brought light to the world. A storyteller would take hours to tell the tale. Raven is facing upwards with the light in his beak. There is always a human aspect to Tlingit stories, and that is why there is a human face within the design.”
