Description
“Robins State I – Black” by Susan Point – First Nations Northwest Coast Salish art presented by DaVic Gallery of Native Canadian Arts.
Condition: No condition noted.
Description by Artist: No description provided …
Notes from DaVic Gallery: Beautiful intricate design of forms and lines with typical hidden bird designs. There are 28 colours used in the making of this serigraph making it one of the most challenging Susan and her son Thomas have produced. This print required fourteen pulls of pigment and was done during Winter 2016 that was one of the harshest in Vancouver, BC. This meant the paper constantly would shrink and expand with the temperature.
Can you tell the difference between Robins State I and her sister print Robins State II?
Pair with same Edition number # 25 / 50 – Note that if purchase is done as backorder, different print number will be assigned.
