Notes from DaVic Gallery:   Many paintings of women that I have seen the painter captures feminine beauty with admiration, and when I look at Francis paintings not only she captures the beauty of women with admiration but also with much love.

This portrait carries tremendous uplifting energy with soft sensuous feminine lines and colors of purple and golden hair tones while at the same time powerful and self-assuring.  Francis sees that the spirit of the Raven is with Shai and she loves and admires her for that.  Raven spirit lives in Shai unnoticed by her but is femininely powerful in the exterior, like an aura, and people that do not understand or see are bent or don’t know how to receive such powerful inner and outer beauty.  I shiver with intense emotions everytime I see this painting, and then I my eyes are drawn to her intense red lips.  You can enter and be amazed, like Francis, by her inviting sparkly eyes that will let you see Raven spirit in her or you can endlessly be called by her lips and exterior sensuality and feminine power.   Raven the shapeshifter, the bringer of light, the trickster. Amazing!
