Notes from DaVic Gallery: ‘Spring fishing’ – Beautiful and harmonious colors of blue and earthy brown with two men fishing using traditional tools, the kikiwog and other fishing tools. A child is learning the skills that will one day become his responsibility. A woman brings the catch of the day back to the village for sharing. This print includes many surroundings of a traditional Inuit landscape including inukshuk standing on a hill, the sun barely rising on the horizon with only a few hours of daylight to work.
