Far out on the green-crusted ridges of the edge-worlds, gravity doesn’t pull you down—it pulls you together.

The journey began with Earth-Walker, a ancient being whose belly carried the maps of continents and whose single flipper kept her anchored to the shifting cosmic tides. She was the Keeper of the Five Moons, balancing a vertical spine of micro-planets perfectly upon her brow like a stack of nesting eggs, keeping them safe under the watchful gaze of a great floating world overhead.

But keeping worlds aligned is lonely work, and space is terribly wide. So, Earth-Walker reached out a hand.

She took the hand of a traveler from the North, a woman who carried the grounding warmth of a heavy hoodie and winter boots into the vacuum of space. The traveler, wanting to share the safety of the anchor, reached back and grabbed the hand of her child, whose light weight made them bob like a buoy in the starlight. And up at the very top of the ridge, where reality turns entirely upside down, a stellar companion floated past—glubbing through the ether, completely inverted, offering a single gloved hand to hold the chain steady.

Connected hand-to-hand, flipper-to-boot, they formed a living bridge. Together, they walked the curved lip of the cosmos, protected from the cold dark by the warm, humming ribbons of the violet and green auroras, proving that no matter how vast the universe gets, no one ever has to travel it alone.

The blank sheet of letter‑size (8 ½ × 11 in) paper covering part of the image in the last reference picture is for size comparison, providing an immediate sense of the drawing’s scale and presence.
