Description
Untitled ‘Two Families’ by Eegyvudluk Ragee — Inuit Art from Cape Dorset 1978 original hand drawing collection presented by DaVic Gallery of Native Canadian Arts.
Condition: Some minor stains visible throughout the paper caused by the artist while drawing. Minor paper handling marks throughout that are mostly visible when seen at angle to light. This is common in original drawings as Inuit artists would commonly draw at home.
Description by Artist: No description by artist found.
Notes from DaVic Gallery: On a beautiful sunny day in late spring or summer time two families of birds share the same space. This is perhaps personification of cultural behavior where families would create strategic alliance for survival.
