Notes from DaVic Gallery:     Lucy Qinnuayuak was prolific and drew many different subjects, but surely it is for her whimsical birds that she is best remembered.  However, here we see two women wearing amauti walking away from the viewer towards what we imagine to be a lake.  Even though simple, the title and the image triggers the viewer’s imagination as what the story can be before, current moment, and what will happen later.  Beautiful addition to your collection.
