Notes from DaVic Gallery:    Variable Edition – this test editions include tile lines.  In producing this design, I worked within the Coast Salish art style which pays tribute to the aboriginal people who once lived in the Alki Point area.  As this site is historically noted as an aboriginal gathering site when fishing was good, human faces and salmon were incorporated in this design.  The human faces also represent the present-day community.  The salmon eggs and baby bird represent the continuing cycle of life, new beginnings, and unity of life.
