Description
‘Coexistence’ by Ekidluak Komoartuk – Inuit Art – Pangnirtung 1986 print collection presented by DaVic Gallery of Native Canadian Arts.
Condition: Some minor creases. Good otherwise.
Description by Artist: No description by artist found.
Notes from DaVic Gallery: Beautiful composition with many different stories of hunting and fishing in the summer and winter. Humans depend on water wildlife for their survival and because of this dependency we all need to learn to coexist with respect and care. We see a kayak hunter, hunters on sled, summer and winter camp and a cabin in the woods. We see a man fishing. And a kettle in the fire cooking a meal. So much detail… beautiful print.
