Notes from DaVic Gallery: Another young person the main subject in this composition by Kudluajuk with interesting surrounding objects surrounding the composition: a water heater connected to a power bar, cables coming to and from the power bar, two mugs, one spoon, all resting on a folding table. Then we have the boy still wearing his thick jacket resting on chair sipping on a cup of tea he might have just prepared for himself. He looks surprised when he’s asked if his finished his tasks … he looks puzzled … what tasks? The list is empty … he thinks to himself…
