Goolka’ by Roy Henry Vickers, 1983 – First Nations Northwest Coast Tsimshian Artist presented by DaVic Gallery of Native Canadian Arts.


Condition:       Very Good condition – sight.  Print is Framed.


Frame:     Though this print is nicely framed, please note that for safety reasons, print can be shipped framed without glass within Canada only.  Shipments outside Canada will include print and mat with both frame and glass removed.


Description by Artist:     “Goolka is the Tsimshian word for the West wind. A Westerly always brings blue skies and sun to the people of the Northwest Coast.  There have been times, however, when a brisk Westerly has brought concern to the wary mariner.  It is just such a person that this piece is dedicated.”  – Roy Henry Vickers.
