Description
‘Trinity’ by Joseph Wilson – First Nations Northwest Coast, Coast Salish Art presented by DaVic Gallery of Native Canadian Arts
Condition: No condition to be noted.
Description by Artist: ‘Trinity’ – “This design is of an eagle family. The eagle in the centre can be seen as one of the two parents, and the eagles on the sides can be seen as the ‘children.’ Or, vice versa, the one in the centre can be seen as the child, and the ones on the sides can be seen as the parent. All in all, this is a celebration of family, unity; the eagle is also a symbol of spiritual freedom.”
