Notes from DaVic Gallery:  It is easy to recognize this composition and associate it with Henri Matisse’s 1910 composition titled, ‘Dance’.  While we do see five figures dancing in an apparent circle, in this Shuvinai’s rendition, the figures are not clear whether they are female as they are dressed and wearing hoods in some cases. Also, the main colour of the figures is of white tone, not warm as Matisse’s.  Very enjoyable and rhythmic nonetheless sure to make a great addition for your art collection.
