Description

Haida Beaver Pole’ by William Ronald Reid Jr. OBC RCA – First Nations Northwest Coast Haida Art presented by DaVic Gallery of Native Canadian Arts.

Condition:       Beautifully framed. The print is in Very Good condition. It’s showing 3 small iron deposits visible along the lower right margin.

Frame and shipping:    Normally, we do not ship framed art to avoid the risk of glass breaking. This print is an exception. It is so beautifully framed that it is worth keeping framed. Please call or email for inquiries.

Description by Artist:     No description by artist found.

Notes from DaVic Gallery:   The print is an etched print of a beaver totem pole. It was created by the intaglio method, where acid is used to etch an image into a plate. The etching is then filled with ink and pressed onto paper.

It has an embossed Wolf hallmark in the lower left corner of the matting. A New Leaf printer’s chop mark is on the lower right. It is numbered, signed and titled in pencil by the artist along the lower margin. The print is beautifully framed, accentuating the beauty of the print design.
