Untitled (Imaginary Friends) by Shuvinai Ashoona – Inuit Art from Cape Dorset 2022 original hand drawing collection presented by DaVic Gallery of Native Canadian Arts.

Condition:          No condition noted.  It is common that original drawings will show minor handling marks and probably stains caused by the artist themselves.  It is also common to see, particularly with Shuvinai’s drawings, uneven paper trimming.

Notes from DaVic Gallery:    An interesting looking three-headed creature wearing an amauti shares a drawing of their human friend picking berries.  There are multiple heads near this creature one of them appears human head and that of a goose.  This goose appears to be admiring the drawing of fish that the dinosaur looking creature with many legs is sharing too.  Bottom, we see another multi-eyed creature wearing two hood amauti for each of its two heads.  So much detail with every segment.
