This product is ** SOLD **
Condition: Some minor stains visible throughout the paper caused by the artist while drawing. Minor paper handling marks throughout that are mostly visible when seen at angle to light. This is common in original drawings as Inuit artists would commonly draw at home.
Description by Artist: No description by artist found.
Notes from DaVic Gallery: Birds, a bear, and fish in this exceptional mystic composition. This is one when Eegyvudluk seems to overlook precise balance in composition as compared to other drawings.
On the farthest distance (top layers) we have two birds of the same species and colour on each side but on the right side we see the blue birds overgrown. On the middle layer we have one bird missing on the left side while on the right side the pink bird is in flight. Lastly on the bottom layer we see a bear on the right side and on the left we see what could’ve been a bear too transforming into bird. The colour of its wing seems to match the colour of the bird that would be missing in the left mid-layer. Fish seems to be entering their spirits.
