Notes from DaVic Gallery:   It’s a race against the arctic weather.  Hunters come back to the village with their catch after perhaps days of hunting to find that ice has melted and can no longer cross the previously thick and safe ice.  They are trapped on the other side of the river and two of their friends from the camp prepare to cross by boat to help them back with their prize, their dog and equipment while others from the camp look on.  Danger is never over but feels this will have a happy ending to the story.   These were the old nomadic day where families would constantly move in search of prize to hunt. This is no longer the case these days are campers have all moved into settlements.
