Notes from DaVic Gallery:   Ptarmigans is one of the most simple and yet well-balanced and well executed print by Teevee.  This could be a family of family of ptarmigans representing a father, mother and chicks.  This could alternatively be a congregation of willow ptarmigans in wintertime as their feathers are white.  They react to a noise or movement and they all look in the same direction to find the source of the noise or movement confirming safety of danger.
