Notes from DaVic Gallery:   What does a beautiful day look like to you?  Sunny, birds, quietness?  We see this beautiful print by Oooloosie and we see perhaps not quietness, look very busy with much activity happening both in sea and sky.  Ooloosie misses nothing and is well aware of all that is happening around her even in a quiet beautiful day.  The sea moves and on it travel small and large glacier with sections above the water and part submerged under the sea.  These are floating and moving along … where will they end?  Over the horizon we also have clouds traveling on a clear blue sky.

Beautifully balanced composition with half occupied by sky and half occupied by sea and glacier and ice chunks connecting these two worlds.

The blank sheet of letter-size (8.5” x 11”) paper covering part of the image in the last picture is for size reference.
