Notes from DaVic Gallery:    this colourful print is reminiscent of his 2012 print ‘Nanuit Puijurtut’ and of his 2015 print ‘School of Fish’ though in this case it feels more humorous and lively.   A School of 19 fish swim away as a polar bear approaches them as it swims upwards towards the surface.  If it’s not for the title, one may think this is a dancing bear trying to catch fish in the air?   Of the 19 fish, there are really four different types.  It is interesting to note that this composition feels a little heavier to the right side with most fish on that side.
